COW 2026
Given the closure of Missenden Abbey late in 2025, COW is having to find a new home. For 2026 we are booked into Cranfield Management Development Centre, part of Cranfield University – between Bedford and Milton Keynes. The dates are 10-12 July 2026.
We are now taking bookings for COW2026, which will be held over the weekend 10th – 12th July 2026 at Cranfield Management Development Centre, Duncan Road, Cranfield, Bedfordshire, MK43 0HG.

Bookings are restricted to current members of WD until the end of September 2025, after which non-members will be welcome to book.
The cost is £360.00 for full residential attendees and £300.00 for non-residential attendees, which includes your subscription to Wargame Developments and The Nugget for 2026-2027. People wanting e-membership can to opt to do so with a £10.00 reduction in the price.
Non-residents may not sleep over-night at or on the site of the COW venue unless a bedroom had been paid for.
All the wargames rooms are on the ground floor. Bedrooms are on the ground and first floors. There is a lift. Food is self service. If you need a ground floor room or an accessible room, or if you have special dietary requirements please say so when booking.
Residential bookings close at the end of March 2026, or when all the places are gone. Non-residential bookings can be accepted up to the end of May. Payment in full will be due by 31st. May 2026. Once the deadline for payment is reached payments are not refundable.
To secure a place, please pay a deposit of £100.00 or make full payment the bank account detailed in the Nugget and email invitation.

If you can’t pay by bank transfer you can pay by PayPal, send an e-mail to wargamedevelopments@gmail.com to request an invoice. You don’t need to have a PayPal account to pay the invoice, just a credit or debit card.
