Following the success of similarly events in recent years, VCOW is now an annual fixture in Wargame Developments’ calendar. VCOW 2026 will take place over the weekend of 6th – 8th February 2026.
VCOW has preciously featured participants from four continents and welcomed many new and returning members, many of whom had in the past been unable to share in the COW experience. VCOW is not a replacement for COW – the latter will take place as usual in July.
Bookings are now open.
The cost is £10.00.
Attendance at VCOW is open to members of Wargame Developments and guests invited by WD members.
If you want to invite someone to attend VCOW as a guest you can either book on their behalf (and give their name and contact details in the e-mail making the booking) or send the Treasurer and Membership Secretary the name and contact details of the guest and, having made the guest aware of the booking deadline, invite the guest to book themselves, when they must mention your name in the e-mail making the booking.

If possible please pay by bank transfer to the WARGAMES DEVELOPMENTS account (details in the notification email or The Nugget) and send an e-mail to wargamedevelopments@gmail.com saying that you have done so.
If you prefer to pay by PayPal, send an e-mail to wargamedevelopments@gmail.com to request an invoice. You don’t need to have a PayPal account to pay the invoice, just a credit or debit card.
